The Dapeng New District Low-Altitude Economy Industrial Park in Baguang was inaugurated on Aug. 13.
Meng Jinjin, the head of the Management Committee of Dapeng New District, attended the inauguration ceremony, where he learned about the low-altitude air routes, takeoff and landing locations, as well as the construction of supporting facilities in Dapeng.

Meng stated that the low-altitude economy is a typical representative of new quality productive forces and possesses significant potential that is being competed for globally. The New District, with its geographical advantages that integrate mountains, seas, lakes, and islands, provides extensive low-altitude areas that can create abundant opportunities for the application of low-altitude innovations.
In recent years, Dapeng has placed great importance on the development of the low-altitude economy, introducing a series of measures to support relevant companies, including those focused on technological innovation, talent attraction, and rental assistance. Currently, the New District is compiling comprehensive measures to establish itself as a full-space hub for unmanned boats, vehicles, and aerial vehicles development. Additionally, the New District aims to become a testing hub for drones in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and a leading area for industrial innovation in the low-altitude economy.
