Shenzhen People's Hospital has officially introduced Tencent's AI large model to provide patients with medical consultations before seeing a doctor, the hospital said yesterday.

The introduction of the system has greatly improved the convenience of patients and the efficiency of doctors' visits. According to the hospital, which is the first in Shenzhen to introduce the AI large model, the new system will also help build a smart and digitized hospital.
The AI large model, developed by Tencent Healthcare, uses machine learning and deep learning to reference a large amount of medical knowledge, including a full set of medical textbooks, more than 1 million sets of clinical practitioner examination questions, 120,000 popular science articles for medical professionals, medical papers, medical encyclopedias, and drug instructions.
In addition, voice, texts, and pictures can be accurately understood to meet the needs of different situations. Meanwhile, the system can provide a personalized consultation experience for patients based on their answers.
